Do I need to arrange website hosting?

No. Webisty designs, builds and hosts your fantastic new website.

Can I keep my current domain name?

Yes. We will provide advice on transferring the domain across to Webisty (the domain always remains your property). Alternatively, we can assist you in requesting your existing domain registrar point the domain to our servers.

Can I move my existing website across to Webisty?

If you have an existing site, we can make use of any formatting, text & images which you would prefer to retain, however a new site would be built for your business to dovetail with our hardware for speed & stability.

Can I purchase web design without hosting?

We wish to offer the very best service to our customers, and ensuring the hosting and web design work well together is a pillar of our service offering. Therefore we do not design websites for third party hosting.

Are there any hidden costs?

The setup fee is £99 after which the design process commences followed by the chosen monthly package charge once the site is live.

Can I upgrade after signing up?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time after signing up.

How do I request changes?

Once the website is live, alterations can be requested directly with Webisty support. The number of alterations allowed per month is outlined in the package breakdown.

Do monthly changes include any technical issues?

Any technical issues affecting the running of the Website will be resolved by Webisty engineers and will not impact your allocated monthly website alteration quota.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals who live in the European Union (EU).

Will my website be GDPR compliant?

Your website will be designed from the ground up with GDPR considerations at it’s core. GDPR compliance is fundamental for any dental practice and we ensure it is one less thing for you to worry about. 

Will Webisty assist with GDPR audits?

When your practice is asked by the NHS to provide confirmation of GDPR compliance in relation to your website, Webisty will provide an audit report in addition to penetration testing of the website which you can include in your dental practice compliance report.

What does 99% uptime mean?

Reliability is paramount. This is why if your website is available for anything less than 99% of the time across any given month, you will be financially compensated for the duration of the ‘downtime’.

Will my website be compliant with GDC regulations?

Your website will adhere to all GDC requirements.

Can I cancel the service if I don't like the design?

Our designers will build a website based on your specific requirements and we are certain you will be happy. However, if you do decide you wish to cancel the service before the website is launched, then you are free to do so.

Is there a minimum service length once the website is launched?

The minimum service length is 24 months following the website launch date.

What happens to my website if I cancel the service?

If you cancel the service at anytime following the initial 24 months, your website database and files will be provided to you. You are then free to host the site yourself or employ a third party to do so on your behalf.
